Irkibna fil-karozza li wasslitna l-Kottonera. Wasalna u poġġejna f’postna. Qgħadna nonfħu l-bżieżaq. Bdejna nħabbtu l-bżieżaq ma’ xulxin. Rajna r-roti jaqbżu minn fuq in-nar. Rajnihom jilagħbu basketball u jiżfnu tal-ballet. Rajna wkoll lil William Chetcuti. Ħadna ħafna pjaċir. - Carlos Portelli
Yesterday we had an outing. We went to Cottonera. We were more than 2000 children. There was a lot of noise. They gave us two balloons to clap with. We saw bikes jumping over fire sticks. We did some exercises to keep fit. We watched a basketball game. We had a lot of fun. - Julia Camilleri
We went to Cottonera Sports Centre. In the show we saw a bicycle jump over people and a long line of fire. There was a show by the Sport Malta Awards. We got balloons. There were five dancers. There was a game of basketball. My friends and I were dancing with the dancers. - Collin Sammut
